Many schools in Africa don’t have access to something as basic as a library. Our Bouncing Book Bus will not only to spread the joy of reading, but educate and improve the children’s lives. Our mobile bus library and assisted reading programme aims to help strengthen the reading culture in schools resulting in a more confident reading population that is better equipped for the future.
Promoting literacy skills among kids in Tanzania and lifelong learning opportunities are at the heart of our Foundation. We are aiming for the children, teachers and communities to benefit from having access to books and school resources.
The BB Bus is of high importance for our Foundations as it will offer attractive, functional, and community-based environment and our key focus is for the BB Bus to become a vibrant part of the schools and their communities.
We want to offer opportunities for remote areas access to books, making it possible for those who can’t get access to cultural and educational offerings. We believe that our BB bus library will provide a space for the local community to interact, learn and connect.
Our aim is to be connected with the communities of the schools we are supporting. We will also be having yearly initiatives to support World Book day in our schools and other key local celebrations.
