This is Team Ellyard.
This photo was taken on a family holiday in Uganda where we were visiting and supporting an orphanage. We have both spent our professional life working in the UK, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. We are passionate about enabling the development and growth of others and after many years of supporting the career journeys and development of people in the corporate world we decided to turn our passion to education and enable greater opportunities for those who have limited access to education. Our new home in Tanzania will enable us to dedicate our time to the next steps of making Bouncing Books a reality and impacting the lives of as many children as possible.
Rachel will be the Bouncing Books Chair and Operations Lead and Luke will be the Treasurer and Fund-Raising Lead. Well, we think, in reality we will both just muck in and do what it takes.
This is Joseph. Joseph is an experienced Head Trekking Guide, who has led over 300 successful summits up Mt Kilimanjaro and Mt Meru. Joseph has added to his skill set by recently passing his Bus Drivers exams. He will be our key driver for Rowland and enabling our Library Bus Service. Joseph has been an integral part of setting up Bouncing Books since 2019.
Julie Audette – Julie is a passionate marketeer with more than 25 years of experience in sports, leisure and destination marketing and PR. An eco-entrepreneur at heart, she is supporting us to ensure we reach as many passionate followers, partners, and stakeholders to support our mission and vision.
Our team is supported by three additional trustees who have been pivotal in supporting the set-up of Bouncing Books and helping to guide its strategic direction and overall management.
Tricia is an Employment Lawyer who is using her expertise to help us with operational decision making as well as channeling her passion for helping develop educational opportunities for children in Africa.
Roger is a retired Graphic Designer who is using his knowledge and experience to help Bouncing Books establish its brand and design and develop educational materials.
Jennifer is a retired primary school teacher and is using her knowledge and experience to help Bouncing Books set up both its Library Bus and develop educational materials.
